My boy is a fish, as far as cautious fish go. This lucky little fishy went to my uncle’s pool earlier this week to cool off with his Nana O. and some of his cousins. While very hesitant in the water at first, he eventually came around and loved it, they tell me. I keep checking the boy for gills or fins, but nothing has sprouted just yet.
This week’s photo (and bonus video! whattt!?) are courtesy of my nephew and fellow fishy, Dominic.
Dom’s GoPro is pretty flippin’ awesome and now I want one! Remember how amazing the disposable underwater cameras used to seem? I recall wielding one for a trip or two to Water Country as a kid and you could alllllmost make out a pair of goggles or a bathing suit in the incredibly cloudy pictures that were later developed. Now, my uncle’s pool is probably a billion times cleaner than that water was and Dom’s camera is a zillion times more fancy, but I digress. I like these pool pictures A LOT is all.
Here are a few more images AND a video I couldn’t stop laughing at when Dom showed me a few days after their pool adventures. While the rest of us are thinking the GoPro is cool for taking pictures, Des is thinking it’s pretty delicious… for eating. Here’s what his toys must feel like on a daily basis. NOM NOM NOM Desmond!
Cute cameo there by my Momsie, niece Isabel in the background and Dominic, the very creative camera guy!
